NEW! Mo’Moa Eco-rental
🍃🌱☘️
During the first 2 months of a baby chickens life they require a heat source 24/7. The brooder box is a 2-month temporary home to provide chicks safety and warmth. Traditional brooder boxes require the use of an aluminum clamp light with the recommended 250 watt bulb.
But in came the NEW chicken heat plate that blows the traditional setup out of the water.
This heat plate provides a more natural setting for chicks to grow without the worry of starting a fire. It also uses 90% less energy, saving you over $60/mth in electric.
🍃🌱🌿
The heat plate is far superior and the retail price of $70 (heater + no roost cone) definitely reflects the quality.
For the average homesteader this is a pretty big investment for a temporary 2-month operation. We wanted to provide this eco-friendly and sustainable option so you too can have all the benefits; only for the time it's needed. Thus the Eco-rental program was born.
🍃🌱🌿
This is the generation of sustainability and shared ownership like car share or airbnb which ultimately reduces waste and impact on the environment.
The rental program is a great way to sustainably use only what's needed and pass it on for an extended life of the product. Sustain sustain sustain.
🍃🌱🌿

You can also purchase your own heater

Best Brooder Heat Plate

$55.00 - $70.00

12” x 12” heater plate warms up to 20 chicks. Uses only 22 watts/hr

We recommend using the no roost cone to prevent chicks from roosting and pooping on top of the plate.

Brooder heat plate uses about 90% less energy than a heat lamp. It is also safer and allows chicks to have a better natural sleep pattern.
